Reversed functionality of skip buttons when Arabic translation is enabled in VLC Android app
Description: When using the Arabic translation in the VLC Android app, the skip buttons (used to fast forward or rewind the media by 10 seconds) behave incorrectly. Specifically, the fast forward button rewinds the media, and the rewind button fast forwards it, causing reversed functionality when the app's Arabic translation is enabled.
Expected behavior The fast forward button should advance the media by 10 seconds, and the rewind button should go back by 10 seconds, regardless of the language of the app’s translation.
Actual behavior The fast forward button rewinds the media, and the rewind button fast forwards the media, which is the opposite of their intended functions when the app's Arabic translation is enabled.
Steps to reproduce
-
Open VLC on an Android device.
-
Change the app's language to Arabic.
-
Load a media file and try using the skip buttons (fast forward or rewind) and observe that they behave oppositely.
