Qt (redesign): flickering ellipsis when scrolling tracks
I've just (finally) gotten medialibrary set up and started to explore it. One issue I've spotted so far is a rather annoying painting glitch with the ellipsis button on the right hand side of tracks under the music-track view whilst scrolling.
If I'm scrolling (with my touchpad) at a somewhat quick pace, there's a sort of "flickering" blur of two or even three copies of the ellipsis bouncing about vertically as the list is moving. This is a combination of the ellipsis moving up/down with the row and of it being "moved" from one row to another as the row beneath the cursor changes.
If I scroll as slowly as possible the painting behaviour is still slightly irritating. The ellipsis seems to jump to the next item that passes under the cursor a fraction of a second before the background highlighting.
With respect to the background highlight during a fast scroll (quick brush of my fingers over my touchpad), the background highlight seems to stay with the item that was under the cursor as it shoots out of view and only seems to reappear on the new item that lands under the cursor as the scroll movement slows down / stops. This is the painting behaviour that I consider "well behaved" which the painting of the ellipsis should be copying.
