Subtitles disappear when paused on current nightly build

Hi, on current nightly build (20231117-0426/vlc-4.0.0-dev-win64-e0dee3c4.exe), the subtitles disappear even when the video is paused. That is, when pausing the video, subtitles disappear after a second or two, just like if the video was playing.

I hope you can understand it is annoying because when the video is paused in the middle of the line, you don't have subtitles when you want to continue, and must rewind if you need the subtitles. The desired behaviour is for subtitles to stay on screen until the end of the line, regardless of the video being paused.
